About the Project

We're a group of high school girls with a lot of wanderlust between us. We know we're going to travel the world! We just need to figure out the specifics... like how. And when. And exactly where which of us are going.
This is a place for us to get down our thoughts- where we want to go, what we want to do there, how we plan to get there, where we plan to stay.
If you know anything about any of our places of interest, please feel free to share your insights in the comments!
You can also find us on Tumblr.

Introductions: "Renee Lal Hadar Gowri"

...I'm suppose to write some really cool stuff here, huh? Well. I'll give it a shot. *Cracks knuckles*

Hey internet. Back in the spring of ol' 1993, my momma shat me out on the side of a dirt road in a little tin bucket. I grew up to be a General Pwnr as well as the Leading Commander of Santa's E.L.V.E.S. Unfortunately, I was shortly kicked out when the find out that instead of being a serious toymaker, I wanted to be a creative writer and novelist hoboing it around the world and scaring locals. I had to leave with nothing but the clothes on my back, fending off the sharks and whales with nothing but my bare fists and nail clippers. I still have the scar where a gnarwhale punctured me in the stomach after I insulted its mother. People often mistake it for my belly button.

It took me awhile to get there with all that swimming, but I finally reached the island of Oahu in Hawaii. It struck me odd that none of the people actually speak in rhymes or spontaneously tap dance. I'm still assimiliting and getting use to the culture shock, but it's been a good seven or so months since I came here, and life's going pretty good.

But I'm getting tired of this island. I need to do stuff. So me and these other Pwners are going to off into the ocean and sucker punch a few sharks to have some grand old adventures. Unfortunately, I'm the oldest one of the group and have to wait two more years for them. But it's all G.

Introductions: Luci

My name is Luci, and I am an Aquarius born in the Year of the Dog. I'm sixteen years old, and I was born and raised here on 'Oahu. I love Hawaii! I love living in such a beautiful place. But I have places to see, know what I mean?
I'm a reader and a writer and a dreamer. I knit. I love tv shows like Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Merlin, and Bones. Music is magic to me. My favorite color is blue. I find history fascinating, and I can spend days in a museum. I want to see as much as I can of this beautiful world, and my primary goal is always happiness.
I have a habit of wishing myself elsewhere. The point of this is that I get to stop wishing and just go!
Welcome to the beginning of the journey.

An Asian language (Japanese? Korean? Mandarin? Hindi? I don't know yet.)
Sign Language. (At this point, any dialect is fine by me. But it would mean a lot to me to be proficient in sign language. Really. I'd rather learn too sign than to speak French. If you've known me very well at all in the past three years, you'd know that's saying a lot.)
