About the Project

We're a group of high school girls with a lot of wanderlust between us. We know we're going to travel the world! We just need to figure out the specifics... like how. And when. And exactly where which of us are going.
This is a place for us to get down our thoughts- where we want to go, what we want to do there, how we plan to get there, where we plan to stay.
If you know anything about any of our places of interest, please feel free to share your insights in the comments!
You can also find us on Tumblr.

Introductions: Luci

My name is Luci, and I am an Aquarius born in the Year of the Dog. I'm sixteen years old, and I was born and raised here on 'Oahu. I love Hawaii! I love living in such a beautiful place. But I have places to see, know what I mean?
I'm a reader and a writer and a dreamer. I knit. I love tv shows like Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Merlin, and Bones. Music is magic to me. My favorite color is blue. I find history fascinating, and I can spend days in a museum. I want to see as much as I can of this beautiful world, and my primary goal is always happiness.
I have a habit of wishing myself elsewhere. The point of this is that I get to stop wishing and just go!
Welcome to the beginning of the journey.

I have been to:
Alberta, Canada
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
São Paulo, Brazil
Minas Gerais, Brazil
Maui, Hawaii, U.S.
Big Island (Hawai'i), Hawaii, U.S.
California, U.S.
Utah, U.S.
New Jersey, U.S.
New York, U.S.
Massachusetts, U.S.
Connecticut, U.S.

I obsess over going to:
England
Scotland
France
The 2014 World Cup in Brazil
The Netherlands
Austria
I would be interested in going to:
Spain
Ireland
Italy
Belgium
Portugal
Australia
Russia
Japan
India
Seattle, Washington, U.S.

I would like to become fluent in:
Portuguese (Currently learning)
French
Spanish (Currently learning)
An Asian language (Japanese? Korean? Mandarin? Hindi? I don't know yet.)
Sign Language. (At this point, any dialect is fine by me. But it would mean a lot to me to be proficient in sign language. Really. I'd rather learn too sign than to speak French. If you've known me very well at all in the past three years, you'd know that's saying a lot.)
